EDGE:

 Notes:
  • Use hook number 4
  • Start in the neck on the right Side
  • Start the row with 3 ch ( = sc+ 1sc) end the row with a slip stitch in the second ch.
  • Stitches are worked into the ch-1 spaces, NOT in the loops of the actual stitches.
  • Don’t turn the work.

Pattern edge
For the edge we use the linen stitch. Its giving the edge a woven look.
The linen stitch is basically a repetition of *sc,ch*, working into the ch-1 space formed by the ch-1’s in the previous row.
Start every row with 2 ch ( this is the first sc) End the row with a slip stitch in the second ch of the first sc.

Row 1: Hook for the edge *sc,ch* . Approx 160 sc and 162 ch in every stitch or row and in the corners (sc, 2ch,sc,ch).
Except
  • Skip on the bottom every twelfth loop of the chain. Approx 55 sc and 55 ch without the corners
  • Skip on the front sides every eight row. Approx 78 sc and 78 ch
  • Corners in The front pieces. In the corners (sc, 2 ch,sc, ch)

Row 2-6 linen stitches and in the corners (sc, 2 ch,sc, ch)
